In Memory of Ms. Carey Resnick

Mrs. Resnick volunteered in Children's ministry at my church, West Ridge. She worked with the Highway 92 production. I have danced in the Highway 92 production a few times and met Mrs. Resnick at practices and performances. I knew she was a great woman. She passed away last month suddenly. After her death, I began to know more and more about her. Please read her Caring Bridge pages where you can see the incredible messages written to the Resnick family.

We have received a donation to A Fresh Hope from the Burnt Hickory Mens Bible Group in Mrs. Resnick's memory. We also received a donation from the Duryea Journey Group in Mrs. Resnick's memory. Both groups expressed said that Mrs. Resnick was devoted to serving Christ and helping children. We received a contribution from Mrs. Resnick's husband in Mrs. Resnick's memory. Children will be blessed by the donations given in Mrs. Resnick's memory.

Mrs. Resnick will be missed. Thank you Mrs. Resnick for setting an example for others to follow.

Steele Cares Boys Home

We went to Steele Cares Boys Home yesterday and took 6 loaded back packs and other books/school supplies. They are a boys home in Dallas with such a heart for kids. They are developing a boys home that will have 6 boys ages 12 and up. They are in the process of creating a computer lab for the boys. They are in need of clothing, any type of food, toiletries, and most importantly funding.

Please visit their website: www.steelecareshome1867.org

Here is a photo of Ms. Bobbi, Waverly and 2 of the children at the home.
